JOB DESCRIPTION

We are seeking expressions of interest from registered psychologists who would undertake a full time counselling role in beautiful Port Hedland in Western Australia, supporting local BHP employees and their families.

We would like to hear from you if you meet the following requirements:

  • Registered Psychologist with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA). We will consider Provisionally registered Psychologists.
  • Capacity to work fulltime (37.5 hours per week).
  • Minimum of 5 years counselling experience.
  • Current Australian Driver’s Licence.
  • Ability to work autonomously and independently.
  • Current Working with Children Check (WWC).

The following is highly desirable:

  • Clinical skills in psychological counselling with individuals, couples and children from age 6 – 18 to address a broad range of problems presenting in EAP work.
  • Previous mining or remote work experience.
