    Job Description

    Due to business growth, we are looking for a Senior Vocational Rehabilitation Consultant with experience in Occuaptional Rehabilitation or Employment Services to join our successful vocational rehabilitation team in Ballarat.  

    You will be providing vocational counselling, health coaching, job seeking, work readiness activities, assessment services and liaising with Treating Health Practitioners’ to identify vocational goals and to build on clients’ work capacity predominantly within the WorkCover industry.

    Qualifications

    Like our best performers, you will be a driven and energetic professional, with strong verbal and written communication skills. You will have the confidence to utilise initiative to solve problems and achieve outcomes. Your personable approach will assist to manage stakeholder expectations and to build strong relationships with key customers.

    You will also have:

    • Allied Health Qualifications in Psychology, Rehabilitation Counselling or Occupational Therapy; OR Extensive experience in Employment Services;
    • Experience in Occupational Rehabilitation (highly regarded);
    • The ability to proactively manage a case load and achieve outstanding results for the customer and client;
    • A passion for injury prevention, return to work, and the health benefits of work
    • The ability to grow our services and build strong relationships with key customers
    • Current driver’s license and motor vehicle

     Even Better: 

    Full or provisional registration with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency);or Associate or Full membership with ASORC (Australian Society of Rehabilitation Counsellors);
