About the Role

The Restoring Childhood Model (RCM) has been funded by the Victorian Government providing therapeutic services to children and young people impacted by family violence. Grounded in evidence informed practice, the RCM will involve specialist intake & triage, supported referrals and secondary consultations and medium term counselling.

Key Responsibilities

With additional funding in the program we are searching for a Clinician who will provide high quality dyadic and child-focussed parenting clinical interventions to infants, children and parents affected by family violence. This role will provide high quality trauma and violence therapeutic services to infants, children, young people and their families and adults at each stage of the stepped care model. The RC Clinician will work cooperatively with both internal and external stakeholders, providers concerning the child development, mental health and well-being needs of infants, children and other parents affected by violence.

 About You

  • We are seeking an experienced Clinician with experience conducting clinical work with children, as well as post graduate training in a relevant field.
  • Someone with strong understanding of the complexity of family violence, service systems, and the issues involved in providing services to our clients.
