Firstly, we would love to introduce ourselves to you. We, at Leora.ai are a new tech start-up company aimed at supporting people through their mental health challenges are incepting a therapist chatbot assistant that offers discreet, AI powered mental health exercises, judgement free and with the ability to triage to therapists on demand. We provide on-demand mental health support and aim to help organizations bring an effortless wellbeing experience for their employees.

As our resident Counsellor, you will be working in a lean team to bring to market a cutting-edge e-mental health application that has a real-life impact to scale mental health care. You will be responsible for the curation of conversational content and building therapeutic exercises, resources, and self-management mental health programs for Leora.ai’ app. 

With our new business venture, this is a very exciting opportunity to join us and contribute to building a business from the ground up but with a seasoned and experienced founder. You must love writing programs of support and be open to providing sessions directly (infrequently) to keep yourself connected to the user journey. Finally, to conduct case management and other administrative tasks as needed

What are you going to bring along with you?

  • Bachelor’s Degree in counselling or related field
  • PACFA or AHPRA Membership 
  • 2+ years of related experience in psychology or counselling 
  • Demonstrated Current and cleared WWCC and NDISWC (confirm if they will be WWC otherwise can remove)
  • strong working knowledge of diagnostic techniques and a variety of evidence-based treatment modalities
  • High work ethics and ability to work independently as well as cross-functionally in a team setting
  • High levels of written and verbal communication skills 
  • And most importantly, you must bring your bubbly and enthusiastic personality.
