This successful and emerging rehabilitation provider are seeking a contract Rehabilitation Counsellor in Sydney to take on a varied caseload of workplace rehabilitation cases (NSW Workers Compensation only). The main focus with this work is working towards return to health and work outcomes in a safe and timely manner. This includes providing assessment and case management to injured parties. You will have support from an experienced and supportive manager and the flexibility and autonomy to manage your workload and time. This employer guarantees hours and files to their contract staff, ensuring no clawback of files.
This role is open to a passionate clinician with a strong desire to help clients return to health and work. You must be willing to travel into the community and workplaces as required, to deliver services to your clients.
You will be responsible for the following:
- Return to work case management of injured workers- Workcover only.
- A range of industry-specific assessments and services.
- Liaison with key stakeholders.
- Completion of high-level written reporting.
Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Rehabilitation Counselling (with relevant registration & membership ASORC etc).
- Previous occupational rehabilitation experience
- The ability to work effectively on an independent basis
- Positive and client-centred professional with great communication skills
- ABN & Professional Indemnity insurance (or willingness to gain).
- Current driver’s licence and your own reliable car.
