Mental Health Clinician – Child & Youth Mental Health Service
Full time permanent position, multiple roles available
The Mildura Base Hospital, Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS), (Mildura, Northwest Victoria, Australia), provides tertiary mental health services for children and young people aged up to 25 years and their families. About the Role:
This position is required to undertake mental, social and physical assessments, treatment and deliver continuing care / case coordination for people with serious mental illness in the community as well as providing support, advice and assistance for external agencies
Key Responsibilities:
- Crisis Intake and Assessment
- Short Term Crisis intervention and Case Management
- Ongoing Case Management
- Therapeutic Counselling
- Family and child inclusive practice
The position is a full time (40 hours a week) ongoing position.
About You:
You will need to have the following qualifications: Social Work, Psychology or Mental Health Nursing, applicants will need to be eligible for membership of AASW and APHRA., Ideally, you will be an experienced professional who wishes to broaden their skills and gain experience in child and youth mental health.
