As Robina’s only private hospital, we deliver leading surgical, medical, rehabilitation and mental health care. Ideally positioned opposite Robina Hospital, Robina Private Hospital is the first private hospital to locate within the Robina Health Precinct and within close proximity to the precinct’s existing, extensive public services.

Robina Private Hospital is a 90 bed private hospital with three specialist wards along with consultancy, outpatient, psychiatric day programs, day surgery, general medical and rehabilitation services.

We have a current position available for a Social Worker to work on our inpatient wards working with clients with a range of mental health presentations and supporting them from admission to discharge.  

Mandatory qualifications and experience:

• Relevant post-graduate level qualifications with Social Work 
• At minimum 2 years’ experience within mental health
• Demonstrated experience working with clients of all ages presenting with severe and persistent mental health issues and complex needs including Aged Care 
• Demonstrated skills in evidence based approaches 
• Flexibility and availability to work across a working week. 
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to take initiative and work independently and autonomously within a team 
• Ability to work in a multidisciplinary team in an inpatient and outpatient capacity
• Eligibility for Membership to the Australian Association of Social Workers 

Desirable but not essential:

• Interest in working with and supporting Veterans
