THE OPPORTUNITY
Mt St Michael’s College is seeking a part time OR full time School Psychologist/Counsellor to provide psychological counselling across a range of social, emotional and student wellbeing needs. The successful candidate will support the welfare, wellbeing and pastoral care needs of the students across the school from Years 7 – 12.
Due to Long Service Leave taken by the current role holder, the position is a 6 month Fixed Term Contract, available part time with flexible hours – two to three days per week OR as full time, 38 hours per week.
FIXED TERM CONTRACT DATE: 16 January 2023 to 23 June 2023.
The successful applicant must have an understanding of and commitment to the aims of Catholic education and the mission and values of Mary Aikenhead ministries.
Appropriate qualifications and/or current AHPRA registration are required along with extensive and relevant experience. Experience working in the education sector will be highly regarded.

Salary is in accordance with Counsellor Classification in the Catholic Employing Authorities Single Enterprise Collective Agreement – Religious Institute Colleges of Queensland 2019-2023.
