About the Role
This is an exciting time for headspace Mt Gambier and a great opportunity for you to be a part of a growing, dynamic and supportive team of professionals providing Youth Mental Health Services This role is responsible for:
- Provide clinical leadership, consultation and expertise to headspace centre team
- Oversight to the coordination and delivery of clinical services
- Provide Clinical Supervision
- Monitor and lead ongoing delivery and improvement of a high standard of evidence based care to clients, including across the mental health spectrum
- Actively manage referrals and demand for clinical services
- Identify clinical risk issues and areas for improved clinical outcomes

About You
You will have demonstrated experience advanced level clinical skills as well as:
- Hold tertiary qualifications in an allied health discipline (social work, psychology, mental health nursing or occupational therapy)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Advanced clinical skills in managing young people at risk, including suicide and violence risks
- Experience in leadership and/or working within multidisciplinary teams

COVID-19 vaccination is an essential requirement under the Emergency Management (Healthcare Setting Workers Vaccination) (COVID-19) Directions 2021 to work in a SA Health/health care setting.

This role is remunerated at the Uniting Communities General Staff Agreement, and dependent on previous experience and Qualifications.
