Allied Health Trainer and Assessor Diversity Education : Health Science and Community Service Training

JOB DESCRIPTION

DIVTEC have been providing nationally recognised and specialised vocational training programs to the greater community since 2012. As a Registered Training Organisation regulated by the Australian Skills Quality Authority, our mission is excellence in health and community services training. 

DIVTEC are currently seeking an experienced and committed Trainer and Assessor to deliver our highly effective Allied Health program across the Brisbane region.

About the role:

  • Facilitate the delivery of the Certificate IV in Allied Health across the Brisbane region.
  • Evaluate learning activities and report on learning outcomes.
  • Develop and implement student engagement strategies with a strong emphasis on student learning goals.
  • Manage resource creation and assessment material through continuous improvement strategies.
  • Accurate and timely record management to ensure compliance across the Moodle LMS.

About You:

  • Demonstrated experience delivering training within the Health and Community Services sector.
  • Exceptional professional communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage with a culturally diverse and multi-disciplined workforce.
  • Well-developed problem solving, planning and organisational skills to meet work demands and competing priorities.
  • Intermediate IT and computer skills. 
  • Ability to work autonomously with effective time management skills.
  • Flexible to work across the Brisbane area to facilitate training that meets industry demands. 

Job Requirements:

  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment (or equivalent). 
  • Certificate IV in Allied Health.
  • First Aid and CPR (preferred but not essential).
  • A current Driver Licence and own registered vehicle with the ability to travel.
  • Working with Children Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check and a National Police Check or willingness to obtain.
  • COVID-19 vaccination certificate.
