- Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services CCLHD is seeking an experienced and dedicated candidate to provide excellent clinical care and evidence based, individual treatments to some of the most vulnerable members of our community.
What you’ll be doing
- The successful applicant will have experience working with acute mental health disorders including assessment, care planning and the provision of evidence based interventions. You will also have the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team and prioritise your workload to meet competing demands.
- The position sits within the Child & Adolescent Mental health Service (CAMHS) and provides assertive outreach and intensive case management, specifically aimed at engaging young people aged 12 to 24 years experiencing first episode psychosis and moderate to severe mental health problems/disorders. You will be responsible for providing professional clinical services to children/young people aged 12 to 24 experiencing first episode psychosis and their families/carers.
- Your ability to formulate risk assessments regarding the risk of harm to self or others and develop safety plans will be essential to your success in this role. You will be a team player with high level time management skills that values lifelong learning and the provision of excellent care for patient, families and carers.
