About the role
This role is your opportunity to join a progressive organisation and great team at Victoria’s largest LGBTIQ+ community-controlled health service. We are seeking a skilled health service professional to join our Alcohol and Other Drugs team in a new role that provides medium to long term AOD Intensive Case Management to members of the LGBTIQ+ community in Inner Melbourne and the Inner West.
This position is an exciting opportunity to help design and deliver community-led, culturally-safe and tailored AOD responses for LGBTIQ+ community members with complex needs. Sitting in a multidisciplinary team and within an integrated community health setting, this role offers the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of both PLHIV and LGBTIQ+ community members. The role works to create positive behavioural change through the delivery of evidence-based therapeutic individual support to AOD clients.
