Domestic and Family Violence (DFV) Specialist Worker Molonglo Support Services

JOB DESCRIPTION

Do you have a passion and experience for helping women and their children experiencing domestic and family violence?  Are you a case worker, social worker or love working in the not-for-profit sector because it feels great to help others?  Additional funding supports us to welcome a new member into our small friendly team. 

Molonglo Support Services are seeking a Domestic and Family Violence Specialist Worker for the Monaro-Hume Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service (M-H WDVCAS) working 35 – 38 hours per week as negotiated.  You will be employed under the SCHADS award Level 5.  Molonglo pays 30-minute lunch breaks and PBI Salary Packaging is available.

The Women’s Domestic Violence Court Advocacy Service is a support service for Women and their children who have experienced or are experiencing domestic and family violence. Our service assists women to obtain effective legal protection through applications for Apprehended Domestic Violence Orders (ADVOs) from NSW local courts. M-H WDVCAS is a frontline service that works collaboratively with NSW Police and other Community Service Partners to provide support to women and children.  

Molonglo Support Services is the service provider for M-H WDVCAS and also manages Louisa Domestic Violence Service, Your Place Housing Support Service and Staying Home Leaving Violence in Queanbeyan NSW and we are situated close to Canberra.
