About the role:
Anglicare have a great opportunity for a part-time Counsellor, 3 days per week to join our Post Separation Cooperative Parenting Program team. In this role you will be undertaking a range of counselling & psycho-educational services which aim to support families experiencing separation, strengthen family relationships, prevent family breakdown and ensure the wellbeing and safety of children at any stage in a family relationship.
Key Responsibilities (not limited to):
- Providing Counselling services and best possible outcomes for families and children
- Advocating for Families and Children
- Providing a renowned service and development within the community
- Developing Case plans with the client, with achievable outcomes
- Ensuring full client caseload is maintained
About you:
- Tertiary qualifications in Social work, Psychology or Counselling is essential
- Member of AASW, APS or organisations registered with PACFA
- Training and clinical experience in family and relationship counselling
- Previous demonstrated experience in assessment and counselling
- Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as a team member
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- Current NSW Drivers Licence
- COVID-19 vaccination is a mandatory requirement unless assessed exempt
