About the role:

Anglicare have a great opportunity for a part-time Counsellor, 3 days per week to join our Post Separation Cooperative Parenting Program team. In this role you will be undertaking a range of counselling & psycho-educational services which aim to support families experiencing separation, strengthen family relationships, prevent family breakdown and ensure the wellbeing and safety of children at any stage in a family relationship.

Key Responsibilities (not limited to):

  • Providing Counselling services and best possible outcomes for families and children
  • Advocating for Families and Children
  • Providing a renowned service and development within the community
  • Developing Case plans with the client, with achievable outcomes
  • Ensuring full client caseload is maintained

About you:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Social work, Psychology or Counselling is essential
  • Member of AASW, APS or organisations registered with PACFA
  • Training and clinical experience in family and relationship counselling
  • Previous demonstrated experience in assessment and counselling
  • Well-developed written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work independently and as a team member
  • Effective time management and organisational skills
  • Current NSW Drivers Licence
  • COVID-19 vaccination is a mandatory requirement unless assessed exempt
