The College Psychologist leads the Years 7-12 College Counsellor Team at Nazareth and helps provide integrated and targeted services to meet the needs of children and young people who have complex learning difficulties, additional needs or co-existing conditions.  They are responsible for overseeing programs, policies, best practice initiatives and intervention strategies in relation to the social, emotional, and academic development of students in Years 7-12.  They will also provide advice and guidance to the R-6 College Counsellor as required. 

The College Psychologist works in collaboration with the Student Counsellor Team, Learning Diversity Team, House Leaders and Mentor Group Teachers to support students.

They will keep the Principal and Head of Campus – Flinders Park informed of all mandated reports and, when required, will provide information and/or confidential notes (which remain the property of the College in perpetuity) to inform relevant matters for parent, civil, police or governance follow up.
