About You
You are a fun, personable, outgoing integration aide / Behavioural Therapist who clearly loves working with children.
You have a desire to excel, you are always looking to develop your clinical knowledge and skills, and are eager to take on new and exciting challenges.
You have experience working with children with Special Needs in a primary school environment or have previous ABA / Behavioural therapy experience.
You have great people skills, fantastic communication, are able to engage children and enjoy working as part of a dynamic team.
You are punctual and committed to the children you work with
You hold a Working with Children Check and National Police Check
You feel confident developing, implementing and monitoring individual learning goals for clients
You feel confident working as part of a team, contributing ideas and implementing strategies developed by Allied Health Professionals.

About the Role
You will be supporting a child in upper primary school with in class learning and social skills. Additionally, you will implement allied health goals with the student including Speech Pathology goals and Occupational Therapy goals.
You will be willing to work onsite at a school in Hawthorn, Victoria & in the home (when required).
Your hours will be weekdays 8:30-3:15 during school terms. Holiday sessions can be organised in the client’s home as requested by the family.
The position will start in term 1 2023.
The child you will be working with is very sensitive to chemicals, fragrance and environmental toxins.
You must:
- Be a nonsmoker & live in a smoke free environment
- Be willing to use the washing powder supplied to wash your work uniform.
- Be willing to use the top of the line hair products provided by the family.
- Be willing to not wear perfume/fragrance or anything with a strong smell.
- Be flexible and willing to work with family as they become of aware of other environmental chemicals, scents or toxins that the child responds negatively to.
Skills / Experience
- Previous experience working with children
- ABA / Behavioural therapy training or experience or
- Previous experience working in primary schools.
