Caraniche’s unique High Risk Offenders Alcohol and Drug Service (HiROADS) is looking for an experienced Registered Psychologist or Social Worker to provide community-based intervention to complex forensic AOD clients.
HiROADS is a state-wide service, with our Head office based in Abbotsford.
About you You will have a desire to further develop your counselling and intervention skills with a complex and high-risk client group whilst being supported by a highly experienced team of clinicians and managers.
You will provide face-to-face and telehealth dual diagnosis intervention to a variety of complex offenders on community-based orders, including those with serious violent and sexual offence histories. Our team of clinicians work across the state (some travel may be involved) and WFH.
Our Clinical Practice Division will provide evidence based, high-quality, regular clinical supervision.

What you must have to apply for this role
- Tertiary qualification in Psychology or Social Work
- Registered with APHRA or AASW
- Experience and capacity to work with complex forensic AOD clients and dual diagnosis presentations
- 3 years’ experience post provisional qualifications delivering in person or online counselling
- High level of interpersonal and collaboration skills
