ProCare Australia are supporting our valued client, with staffing support for their Escaping Violence Program. We have multiple locum positions available for Intake and Assessment / Case Workers.
About the role:
The Escaping Violence Program is very busy with a large volume of enquiries, with many people self-referring to the service. Candidates must be confident working in a fast-paced environment, completing comprehensive eligibility assessments and gathering evidence clients who self-refer. To be successful, candidates need to be confident using computers, have strong data entry skills as well as effective time management and good attention to detail.
We have several roles available and anticipate the locum contract will be full time hours, till March 2023 with a possibility for extension. Urgent start is required. We will be able to provide you with more information once we present you to the client, and they confirm the finer details.
Many of the clients who are self-referring want to tell their story, so candidates will be subject to conversations around Domestic Violence.
To be Successful:
- Completed Bachelor Degree in a Human Services field
- Blue Card
- National Police Check
- Vaccinated against Covid-19
- Available to start ASAP
- Experience in Domestic Violence and / or Child and Family roles – Intake and Assessment / Case Work experience is highly desirable
- High level data entry and administration experience as the role is high volume
- Ability to work from a office – Likely Annerley, Nundah, or Chermside, though other office locations may be available
Salary & Benefits
- Attractive hourly rate- $49.08 per hour + super
