Our client’s AOD Program is responsible for developing a range of services in the community to support treatment and care options to reduce the harm for clients and their families affected by alcohol and other drugs (AOD).
Services are to be delivered with the aim of facilitating sustained recovery and relapse prevention.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Relevant qualification in and/ or postgraduate experience in Psychology or Counselling essential
- Membership or eligibility to join a governing body such as PACFA, AASW or ACA
- Demonstrated experience in using a broad range of evidence-based counselling and group work approaches to support participant outcomes whose life is affected by alcohol or other drug use
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills including case note writing
- Demonstrated cultural competency, particularly in working with Indigenous people
SCHADS Level 5 $88,758 + 10.5% Super.
