Incolink is a joint enterprise of employer associations and industry unions in the Tasmanian and Victorian commercial construction industry.
We are Australia’s largest worker entitlement fund with a simple focus — to be the leading provider of worker entitlements, insurance and wellbeing services to the commercial construction industry. The role
This 12month fixed term role will develop and deliver mental health education programs both onsite and online to increase the general awareness of mental health.
This includes Incolink’s suicide prevention program, Bluehats. Bluehats creates a peer-to-peer support network and facilitates education aimed at reducing the stigma surrounding mental health and suicide.
Responsibilities
Use your business and relationship expertise and passion to:
- Develop and deliver a range of prevention education programs onsite and online
- Support the co-ordination and improvement of Incolink’s suicide prevention program, Bluehats
- Engage with stakeholders and external funders to represent, promote and improve Incolink’s programs
- Create and maintain peer-to-peer support network and referral pathways
- Contribute to ongoing evaluation of prevention education programs
Skills / Experience
The ideal candidate will love working in a small passionate team where building relationships with members is paramount.
You will have:
- Minimum diploma level qualification in counselling, education, psychology, social work, family therapy or a related discipline
- One year’s experience in educational delivery
- Proven ability to work flexibly with limited supervision and/or as a member of a team, contributing to the team and organisation’s goals
- Proven ability to create and sustain stakeholder employer relationships
- Experience in working with men’s health
- A team orientation, able to develop and manage strong working relationships with internal departments and liaising with stakeholders
- Knowledge / background in the building and construction industry
- A good working knowledge of membership organisations in the industrial and/or construction sectors
