An opportunity exists for an experienced Youth Mental Health Worker to join the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Tasmania community-based mobile mental health team.
Working with the Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) Tasmania you will be joining a team of dedicated professionals providing health care to children and young people living and working in rural and remote Australia.
The Royal Flying Doctor Service (RFDS) is seeking to recruit a part time or full-time mental health worker to join our mobile team. Specialising in the provision of youth mental health services, the successful candidates will work collaboratively to provide early identification and therapeutic intervention for young people aged between 8-16 years.
Supporting a rural and remote region on the East Coast of Tasmania, delivering community-based services providing treatment, support and education for individuals and communities. The provision of mobile services will be delivered in an outreach capacity in this region.
The role will provide low to moderate intensity mental health services to young people aged 8-16 years. The successful candidate will work as part of a multi-disciplinary team delivering evidence based psychological interventions in a young person’s own community.
