JOB DESCRIPTION

Locum Social Worker
Immediate start for 3 months, possibility of extension.

Exciting opportunity for a qualified social worker  to join a Regional Public Hospital. Clinical areas include:

  • Acute inpatients
  • SACAT applications
  • Residential aged care
  • Paediatrics – NDIS, child development and trauma

Essential Criteria

  • Tertiary qualification in social work, psychology, or a similar discipline
  • Registration or eligibility to register with AASW
  • Provide goal centred care coordination that is adapted to the needs of clients and their caregivers / significant others.
  • Work within the multidisciplinary team
  • Ability to work flexible hours.
  • A positive attitude is a must.
  • Full drivers license
