THE JOB ENTAILS:
- Screening callers’ needs and building rapport quickly to identify the best services for them
- Using problem solving skills to set appointments for these inbound callers with therapists on our network
- Administrative duties
The position is casual with flexible working arrangements on offer. Please note this is an office based role. We are currently looking to fill between 15 to 30 hours a week dependent upon the candidate. Day, evening, and weekend work is available. Availability to work weekends and evenings is desirable. Flexibility is desired and supported.
No study experience in the field of mental health is necessary, however the highest standards of customer service and communication expertise is central and imperative to success in the role.
THE ROLE
Life Supports is looking for an applicant with a high achieving mentality, exceptional communication skills, and an engaging phone manner.
Your primary responsibility will involve speaking on the phone to many different types of people, discerning the correct therapeutic fit for the caller, and assisting them in connecting into our network of high quality therapists.
Performance incentives will be paid (based on providing exceptional customer service) in addition to the hourly base rate of $33.
KEY SELECTION CRITERIA:

- Have exceptional communication skills, written and oral. The majority of your day will consist of answering inbound emails and phone calls from potential new clients, where you are required to constantly solve problems and respond to enquiries promptly and accurately
- Have strong computing, internet and keyboard skills
- Demonstrate strong multi-tasking and time management abilities
- Be adept at managing a fast-paced working environment
- Strong self-care and self-sustaining personal practices
- Administrative excellence with attention to detail
