About the role:
As Placement Coordinator for the Community Services programs, you will lead local industry engagement & partnership development, sourcing local field placement opportunities for Community Services students. You will also negotiate MOUs with agencies, ensuring compliance with ACWA requirements. You will be responsible for the development and ongoing relationship management of current and potential agencies.
About you
Ideally you will hold a minimum Bachelor’s degree in a welfare-related discipline (e.g. Community Services, Social Work) with eligibility for membership of the AASW, ACWA, ACA or APS. Preferably a Certificate IV in Training and with recent practical experience. You will be an excellent communicator with proven ability to build resourceful networks and partnerships. You will have outstanding collaboration, listening and problem-solving skills, and the proven ability to successfully source and obtain opportunities.
