Case Manager – Connection, Strength and Recovery (CSR) Centacare Catholic Family Services

The Role

Centacare collaboratively partners with Women’s Safety Services SA (WSSSA) and Centacare Catholic Country SA to pilot CSR programs in South Australia, including the Limestone Coast. The main objective of the CSR program is to connect victim/survivors with post crisis community supports, increase resilience, economic independence and reduce potential future re-entry into the DFV/Homelessness crisis systems.

Based in Mount Gambier, the Case Manager – CSR will work with women and their children who are exiting crisis case management services, through the provision of specialised therapeutic case management and therapeutic groups supports.  The Case Manager – CSR will be required to undertake safety first case management including risk assessments and safety planning with clients, that develops sustainable community connections and support.

This position is funded on a fixed-term opportunity until 30 September 2024. Please see attached position description for full details. 

What you need to bring


    Essential

  • Valid Department of Human Services (DHS) Working with Children Check
  • Valid Australian Drivers Licence
  • Bachelor of Social Work and/or experience commensurate with the position
  • Ability to do some work outside of standard hours when required 

    Desirable

  • Extensive experience in domestic violence and/or Aboriginal family violence focussed case management
