Central Coast Grammar School is a leading K-12 independent, coeducational and nondenominational school. Located on a single 17 hectare campus overlooking the Matcham Valley close to the heart of Erina, our school offers a spacious environment where students can grow and flourish.
The School is seeking to appoint a passionate and experienced School Psychologist to provide support to students addressing educational, social, emotional and behavioural needs. The is a new fulltime permanent role, however could be structured as two part time roles, dependent on the successful candidate(s) and will commence in January 2024.
This position will work across the whole K-12 school community. You will need to have excellent interpersonal and communication skills, as well as the ability to communicate in a caring and professional manner.
To be successful in this role you will need:
- to be registered with AHPRA (Psychology)
- have experience in providing psychological assessments and facilitating interventions for students with diverse needs
- exhibit competency in addressing a wide variety of wellbeing problems
- have a particular interest in childhood and early adolescence
- to embrace the culture of the school and integrate with teaching and support staff
- to work closely with the extended Executive and colleagues
