About the Role:
Make a difference across youth mental health programs! Within this role, you will be primarily responsible for providing clinical leadership and direction a passionate team, ensuring that day-to-day clinical work is carried out to effectively meet the needs of young people.
the successful candidate is required to have current registration with AHPRA or AASW as a Psychologist, OT, Social Worker or Mental Health Nurse.
Desired Skills and Experience:
- Tertiary level qualifications in an allied health discipline including Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Nursing or Occupational Therapy.
- Currently registered, with AHPRA / AASW as a Psychologist, Occupational Therapist, Social Worker, Mental Health Nurse or other allied health professional.
- Experience in leading a team in a complex clinical triage, assessment and referral environment.
- Advanced clinical skills in managing young people at risk through delivery of psychosocial interventions using evidence-based approaches.
- Ability to work with a diverse range of people and outstanding stakeholder management skills.
- Experience working with diverse populations and the ability to communicate effectively and sensitively with Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples, LGBTIQSB+ young people, and people from culturally and linguistically diverse communities.
