Our Transition to Work service provides young people aged 15 to 24 with specialist pre-employment support to develop practical skills to gain meaningful employment or connect with education or training services. We find local job opportunities, connect with relevant local community services, and we find the best mix of activities and services to provide great outcomes for our young people.

What you’ll do:
Operating across the Adelaide Metropolitan area, you will be responsible for identifying and creating connections with local high schools and community organizations. You will promote our Transition to Work Services for young people who may be at risk of disengaging from their school, or who are without the connections needed to receive the support, training and other services required to re-connect with education or gain employment. You will work closely with our specialist youth consultants to place our young clients into meaningful activities which will help them achieve their goals.
What you’ll need:
- Passion for and experience working with young people from diverse backgrounds
- Experience engaging and building relationships with high schools, community organizations or similar
- Strong communication, customer service, negotiation and influencing skills
- Experience developing and maintaining positive and effective professional working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- To be disciplined and results-driven, with a high level of initiative, and ability to work autonomously
- Demonstrated dedication to work with integrity and ethical standards
- Be able to satisfy a pre-employment check including a National Police Check and a Working with Children Check
