Therapist/Counsellor

We are seeking dedicated and experienced Therapists, Counsellors and Psychologists to run DBT day programs at Ramsay Clinic Wentworthville.

About the Role

Ramsay Clinic Wentworthville requires enthusiastic and highly motivated DBT Group Facilitators to be part of an exciting opportunity working with outpatients to deliver Dialectical Behavioural Therapy programs. This job will suit someone with mental health experience working with mood, anxiety and emotion dysregulation problems.

 

 

About You

To be successful in this role you will be a positive and effective team player who brings excellent clinical and interpersonal skills. You will thrive in a fast-paced environment and be able to manage your time effectively to meet your responsibilities.

This position would be ideally suited to someone who:

  • Extensive experience in delivery group therapy is essential
  • Has prior experience in facilitating group therapy using Dialectical Behaviour Therapy
  • Has previous experience in facilitating 1:1 individual therapy is desirable
  • Qualifications in a relevant speciality of Allied health e.g. Psychology or Counselling
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to be self-motivated and work independently whilst also being able to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Has experience managing challenging behaviours in a group setting
  • Has experience in managing presentations of suicidality and self-harm
