About the role:
An exciting, ongoing opportunity to join Box Hill Institute as our Schools Relationship Officer!
The Schools Relationship Officer position is responsible for increasing Box Hill Institute’s profile by building and maintaining existing and new secondary school networks and managing the engagement of these networks. The primary focus of the role is to undertake all engagement with secondary schools focused on building awareness of all BHI courses and offerings
Within this role, you will be coordinating activities, which enhance course enrolments, customer satisfaction and achieve key student recruitment initiatives. You will be responsible for organising resources including employee representatives for BHI tours for secondary schools, employment agencies, youth network agencies and individuals. As the Schools Relationship Officer, you will also attend key recruitment events including the annual careers practitioners seminar, exhibitions, career evenings and other internal and external to promote the BHI.
The Schools Relationship Officer is a member of the Student Experience portfolio. This position is responsible for working professionally with employees at all levels across the BHI and liaising with internal and external stakeholders.
The Schools Relationship Unit leverages the unique strengths of both Box Hill Institute and Centre for Adult Education. The team is focused on engagement across all secondary schools and other relevant stakeholders including Career Practitioners, Careers Groups, Secondary School Students and their influencers.
Note; this role is an ongoing opportunity and salary is in line with PACCT 5 $70,012.00 per annum (exclusive of superannuation).
About You:
- Relevant Degree or post graduate qualification in Business, Marketing or similar
- Demonstrated experience within a similar role
- Current Victorian Driver’s License
- High level communication skills and ability to build relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Proven experience in preparing and delivering logical and succinct presentations making a positive impression on others and delivering these with impact
- Demonstrated experience in managing information to encourage prospective students, key school stakeholders, and other stakeholders to promote a positive brand image
- Ability to confidently convey ideas and information in a clear and interesting way
- Passionate about BHI and our offerings; ability to convey our opportunities to potential students and stakeholders
