ESSENTIAL CRITERIA: To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A relevant tertiary qualification and/or equivalent in Counselling or Psychology
  • Proven community networking experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrating a supportive and positive attitude towards all individuals under your care
  • Computer literacy
  • Excellent time management, multitasking, and follow-up skills
  • Willingness to affirm the organisation’s vision, mission, and values
  • A current Working with Children’s Check & police check

 

DESIRABLE CRITERIA: While not mandatory, the following attributes would be advantageous:

  • Interest and knowledge in problem gambling issues, domestic violence, substance abuse, mental health, grief, and loss.
  • Flexibility to work some evenings and occasional weekends.
