As an entry level Behaviour practitioner role, you will be provided extensive support, professional development opportunities and the chance to be a part of a growing team.
The role is based in our modern Bendigo office and would consider part time for the right person.
Goals of the position:
- Opportunity to manage your own caseload of participants, primarily developing person-centred strategies for individuals with complex or comorbid disabilities.
- Develop and Monitor Positive Behaviour Support Plans.
- Create, supervise, and ensure behaviour support plans meet clinical and NDIS requirements.
- Prepare monthly reports to the NDIS where required.
- Develop, monitor, and action individualised risk plans to mitigate incidents and hazards.
About you:
- Minimum Bachelor Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Behavioural Sciences, Education or other relevant allied health qualification
- Must have an empathetic disposition, with the ability to liaise with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience in providing clinical and/or behavioural assessment, intervention, and support is an advantage
- Knowledge of the NDIS, and relevant disability legislation desirable.
- Must have a valid driver’s licence.
- Must have an NDIS Worker Screening Check or be willing to obtain one.
