Engage Psychology is seeking an experienced Behaviour Support Clinician to join our multidisciplinary team in the Clinical Practice Supervisor role.

The Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and qualified practitioner to join our team in the Practice Supervisor role. The PBS Practice Supervisor is supported by the Principal Behaviour Support Clinician and other senior clinicians amongst our multidisciplined team.
The candidate will have an excellent understanding of positive behaviour support, restrictive practices, and writing/ evaluating positive behaviour support plans. In addition to carrying a small caseload, the practice supervisor provides regular supervision and mentorship for clinicians, involved in development of case consult and training opportunities for the team, an active part of stakeholder relationships with the supervisee clinician, and editing clinician’s written work.
The role can include opportunities to undertake some project work in the clinician’s area of interest. Our team are passionate about all things psych (PBS, neuro, clinical, trauma, and everything in between). Some of the projects may include:
- Exploring research opportunities to improve the knowledge base of treatment in the private sector.
- Developing training for our webinar library. Previous trainings have included mental health in adolescence, conducting psychological testing, and trauma.
- Facilitation of group therapy.
About you
- The role is open to psychologists, social workers, occupational therapists, with credentials in positive behaviour support.
- Formal training in positive behaviour support and experience in writing and implementing plans.
- Strong knowledge of legislations and best practice regarding positive behaviour support.
- A desire to mentor clinicians.
- Takes ownership of client work and associated responsibilities.
- Has a strong ethical compass and cultivates credibility.
- High level of communication and interpersonal skills.
