Complex Case Coordinator

The Opportunity
The Student Safety and Wellbeing team are looking for a candidate with experience in Social Work Psychology or Mental Health Coordination to help support and improve the wellbeing outcomes for our students.
The Complex Case Coordinator will provide psychosocial assessment to assess the safety, mental health, academic and well-being needs of students at risk. This role will be key in providing initial case assessment, safety planning, and mental health support to enable improved mental health and academic outcomes.
Key Accountabilities:
- Provide initial assessment and develop case coordination plans for students.
- Provide referral for students to relevant internal and external student supports.
- Manage requests for case coordination, maintaining client records and data.
- Develop and maintain links with stakeholders.
- Interpret and apply policies and procedures to support student engagement and success.
Your Application
To be successful in the role, your application will need to demonstrate:
- A degree in a relevant field (e.g. Community Services, Social Work, Counselling or Health Services, Psychology) and extensive work experience in case management.
- Well-developed written and interpersonal skills with a high level of organisation.
- Experience overseeing complex case coordination and ability to exercise sound judgement.
- Experience in case coordinating person-centered, trauma informed supports and responses.
- Cultural sensitivity in meeting the needs of diverse clients.
Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at HEO 7 and will have a total remuneration package of up to $123,548 comprising base salary within the range of $96,071 to $105,597 plus 17% superannuation.
