Practice Lead – Recovery Mental Health Services Uniting NSW & ACT

JOB DESCRIPTION

About the role

This is a permanent full-time (38 hours/ week) opportunity and will be based in North Parramatta with some travel across NSW and some flexible WFH options

As the Practice Lead – Mental Health Services you are responsible for leading high quality and consistent practice approaches both in the Uniting Recovery programs and more broadly across the Directorate.

The Practice Lead role is responsible for leading program design, developing and implementing practice models and driving change initiatives to best meet the needs of our client groups. You will actively support an organisational culture that seeks opportunities to improve and proactively identifies potential barriers to achieving outcomes. You will work collaboratively with stakeholders to find creative and sustainable solutions to problems and contribute to systems improvements for your area of specialisation and the Directorate.


About You

  • ​​Tertiary qualifications Psychology, Social Work, Counselling, or equivalent and relevant training in the field of work​. 

It is expected that you will possess excellent skills at navigating a complex organisation, forging relationships, and managing relationships through influence rather than direct authority as required. You will have extensive experience in delivering programs/services within your area/s of specialisation and be a highly organised and motivated leader able to demonstrate your ability to lead change initiatives. You will be able to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team, contributing to the ongoing development of program quality and practice initiatives both for Recovery and the broader Communities Directorate.
