Behaviour Support Practitioners – Albany and South West Fremantle Behaviour Support

JOB DESCRIPTION

Fremantle Behaviour Support is an NDIS registered behaviour support group looking for skilled Behaviour Support Practitioners living in Perth and throughout regional Western Australia to join our PBS WA team. Our vision is to provide meaningful and effective behaviour support to people in regional areas as well as the Perth metro, forming an alliance of skills and knowledge state-wide for all to benefit from. 

These roles are contract positions only and offer an hourly rate of $130 for Behaviour Management and $145 for Specialist Behaviour Support.

Requirements for the role:

  • ABN – sole trader recommended
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (Proficient or above)
  • Behaviour Support Practitioner Training (DoC) or a Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Occupational Therapy or other transferable qualification 
  • Established network of families, support coordinators and implementing providers
  • Evidence of NDIS practitioner suitability
  • De-identified example of a Behaviour Support Plan you have written
  • NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • Working with Children Check
  • NDIS Orientation Module Certificate 
  • Covid-19 Infection Training Certificate
  • Public liability, professional indemnity, and worker’s comp insurance certificates
  • Commitment to regular ongoing clinical supervision (external)
  • Must have own laptop, phone and car
  • Minimum of 3 references
