Child and Family Services Assessors MAX Solutions

JOB DESCRIPTION

Introduction

MAX Solutions, Child and Family Services program is looking for contracting assessors to conduct Foster Carer, Family Care Assessments, Carer Reviews and Adoption assessments in Perth and regional areas of WA.

The Opportunity

These roles are as work demands and are well suited to work in with your business, other part time work or an addition to your current contracting services. MAX Solutions, Child & Family Services Program provides significant support, training and mentoring to each contractor.

About You

  • Degree level qualifications in Social Work, Counselling, Psychology or Social Science or equivalent
  • Practical experience in Child Protection, including fostering assessment services
  • Ability to produce high quality comprehensive psycho-social assessment reports
  • Ability to meet KPI’s as set
  • Ability to travel throughout WA desirable
  • Strong face-to-face interviewing skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Experience in working with indigenous and CALD communities is desirable but not essential
  • Understanding of the Child Safety Principles and commitment to child safety and wellbeing, including understanding children’s developmental needs and culturally safe practices
