About the Role
- Narrabri Community Health is seeking a dedicated Community Health Manager to manage service delivery in consultation with the wider Health Service to support excellence, clinical best practice, care and optimise clinical outcomes.
- Narrabri Health Service management will support and guide the role for day to day operational service delivery, in line with the wider sector and District priorities.
- This role will see you managing and liaising with all staff within the Community Health program and the wider multi-disciplinary acute and community teams.
- You will be supported in this role with orientation, links with clinical supervision and District Clinical Networks meetings and mentoring.
- Our ideal candidate is energetic, enthusiastic, dedicated to Closing the Gap, self-motivated and has a passion for rural health. You will lead and manage a clinical services team to provide excellent patient/client care within a community health service environment in order to maximise the health outcomes for the community in which the clinical service functions. You will be able to work autonomously, whilst also being supported by Mehi Sector and Narrabri Health
Where you’ll be working
- The clinician base of Narrabri Community Health is a vibrant multi-disciplinary team.
- The Community Health Manager role provides support for clinical and non-clinical staff in a community based setting and to progress service delivery to clients and their families within the Narrabri Shire & district.
- The Community Health service operates Monday – Friday 8:30am to 5:00pm with a limited weekend service for Community Nursing.

Requirements
