Community Mental Health Navigator
Based in Gippsland, Latrobe Regional Health are looking for a Community Mental Health Navigator to join our Sale 26+ Community Mental Health Service on a full time, ongoing basis.
Applications are sought from recently graduated Registered Nurses (with post graduate qualifications in Mental Health), Social Workers, and Occupational Therapists to undertake this exciting and challenging role.
The successful candidate will be required to carry out the full range of tasks required of the Navigator including:
- welcome and orientate people to the clinic
- assist consumers and their families to navigate the mental health system and link them to services and organisations
- Provide telephone reminders and scheduling appointment assistance.
- support consumers and their carers to resolve practical problems
Applicants with interest in community mental health practice, along with current experience in nursing, social work, psychology or occupational therapy, and those with the motivation to grow and excel in their profession will find LRH a great fit for the next step on their journey.

We are looking for candidates with:
- Minimum Requirements/Qualifications : Graduate Registered Nurses, Enrolled Nurses, Social Workers, and Occupational Therapists.
- Experience and/or interest in the community mental health sector is highly desirable.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
