About the role

Applications are invited for the position of social Worker at Lingard Private Hospital.  The successful applicant will assist patients, their families and care givers through the provision of information, advice, advocacy, services and appropriate referrals. Experience and/or interest in return to work co-ordination and work with veterans would be beneficial.

Essential criteria                     

• Proof of COVID-19 Vaccination status, in line with Public Health Order for all health care workers to be fully vaccinated.
• Post graduate Social Work experience in either the acute, subacute or community sectors
• Highly developed interpersonal skills
• Excellent written / verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively and efficiently within a multi-disciplinary team and across health care sectors.
• Patient focus approach to health service delivery including sensitivity to the needs of Veterans as well as patients from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds.
