JOB SUMMARY:
The Clinical Lead, reporting to the headspace Schools & Communities Program Manager, will assist in developing and overseeing clinical practices within their team, including supervising staff, supporting service delivery, and data collection for reporting. They will also manage service delivery to meet contract requirements and contribute to other headspace Schools & Communities Projects as needed. The Clinical Lead, a qualified professional experienced in collaborative partnerships, will have expertise in youth mental health, suicide prevention, and knowledge of health and education sectors. They will engage and negotiate with diverse stakeholders effectively.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Contribute to strategic plan development with Program Manager and Team Lead.
- Provide Clinical Supervision and Group Reflective Practice for Consultants.
- Develop, coordinate, and govern evidence-based clinical practice.
- Lead/participate in meetings, resource reviews, and projects as directed.
- Support staff recruitment, orientation, and capacity building.
- Lead/participate in stakeholder relationships in health, education, and community sectors.
- Manage service delivery portfolio and projects as directed.
- Demonstrate clinical and leadership capabilities as per headspace frameworks.
- Build knowledge of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultures.
SELECTION CRITERIA:
- Hold an approved tertiary qualification in allied health disciplines (e.g., psychology, social work, mental health nursing, occupational therapy).
- Eligible for membership in a professional body (e.g., AASW, AHPRA for psychologists, mental health nurses, and occupational therapists).
- Possess advanced clinical skills in mental health.
- Demonstrate extensive senior clinical experience and offer clinical supervision.
- Experience in strategic-level planning, delivery, and evaluation within projects.
- Understand the Australian mental health services system and associated professionals.
