  • SCHADS Level 4.4 $88,287.68 per annum plus Super and Salary Packaging

This element of the work will develop, deliver and support the service offerings of the QFRP in partnership with Neighbourhood Centres Qld (NCQ). 

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build collaborative relationships to deliver on the program objectives, targets and anticipated outcomes
  • Sector analyses of the family and domestic violence, First Nations, CALD, disability, LGBTIQA+ and newly arrived people to target program marketing and delivery
  • Support to complete regional area demand mapping to identify potential referral partners, stakeholders and program marketing
  • Ensure that promotional materials and slide decks are culturally safe and co-designed
  • Collaborate with partners to deliver virtual presentations within communities to assist with support for hard to reach clients
  • Coordinate and manage a calendar of presentations, workshops, events and conferences that align with the identified priority groups and services for the program
  • Ensure the QFRP frontline team are equipped and trained to deliver service delivery and engagement activities
  • Identify, connect, recruit, engage and retain referral partners to increase the engagement of target participants and services for QFRP
  • Work collaboratively to design and implement an ongoing engagement strategy, and feedback and continuous improvement process with referral partners
  • Develop and monitor MOUs with strategic partners to support formal referral pathways including leading partner reviews 
  • Design newsletters, periodic reports and communications to stakeholder groups and in preparation for contract governance meetings
  • Assist with data management and maintenance of a client database
  • Participate in regular team and other meetings as required.
  • This role is not required to provide financial counselling, financial advice, or deal with complex financial or legal matters and will facilitate access to financial counsellors, legal and other services.

 

About you:

  • Completion of a minimum Diploma level in Community Services, Psychology, Social Work, Business Development, Social Science or similar stream, or equivalent demonstrated experience
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or equivalent (desirable)
  • Experience in financial capability coaching or similar including experience working 1:1 or group basis with clients to build financial capability skills, knowledge and self-efficacy with the objective of developing behaviours consistent with improved financial wellbeing
  • Understanding of and experience in the provision of financial capability development
  • Experience facilitating group work and workshops
  • Experience and understanding of domestic and family violence including financial abuse – people with a personal or professional understanding of the experience of financial abuse, domestic and family violence are strongly encouraged to apply
  • High degree of professionalism and judgement
  • Demonstrated high degree of organizational skills, with an ability to multi-task and prioritise
  • Ability to develop and maintain spreadsheets and data bases accurately; and experience using web-based software to manage information
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication, negotiation and advocacy skills
  • Demonstrated understanding of financial inclusion, capability and resilience including an understanding of the challenges facing low-income Australians and commitment to promoting financial inclusion
  • Demonstrated capacity building and communication skills to engage, build working relationships and deliver services/programs with people from diverse cultural, gender, social and economic backgrounds, including people at risk of poverty, family violence, family breakdown, First Nations, CALD, newly arrived, LGBTIQA+ and people living with a disability
  • Desirable – Demonstrated knowledge and understanding of a financial wellbeing approach including trauma informed approaches to practice, understanding and experience in domestic and family violence and economic abuse including risk assessment, coaching frameworks, skills, tools and resources 
  • Experience in project coordination, including the ability to balance competing priorities and diverse stakeholders
  • Ability to travel with access to own vehicle
  • A satisfactory National Police Check
  • A satisfactory International Police Check (If lived and worked overseas in last 5 years)
  • A current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
