JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Contract: Permanent
  • Hours: Part-time 0.6 FTE (45 hours per fortnight) – Monday to Friday flexibility
  • Choice of location: Port Pirie or Port Augusta

The role

  • Design and deliver low intensity, client-centred, goal orientated cognitive behavioural therapy
  • Be responsible for the delivery of overall individual client therapy, in accordance with organisational and program funding guidelines
  • Deliver quality mental health care working cooperatively within a multi-disciplinary team and with our service partners to maximise opportunities to identify innovative, co-ordinated solutions for clients
  • Have the ability to adapt to a fast-paced work environment in our growing organisation
  • Deliver therapeutic services to clients with mild mental health disorders and from diverse backgrounds

 

About you

Hold or be working towards either:

  • a Low-intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (LiCBT) certification or
  • an appropriate tertiary qualification in Counselling, Social Work or related discipline
