About this Role

As a member of our professional transdisciplinary team you will be involved in our Individualised and Group-Based Therapy Programs. You will also be involved in providing ongoing coaching to a group of early childhood education services to build on their inclusive practices. Our programs are flexible and individualised to meet the needs and priorities of the child, family or service. Your responsibilities will include increasing the capacity of families/carers and mainstream service providers to ensure children are participating meaningfully in inclusive environments.

What You Need

  • Preferred experience working with children with developmental delays/autism and families utilising a Positive Behaviour Support (PBS) approach.
  • Preferred experiencing working alongside or within mainstream early childhood education and care (ECEC) services. 
  • A degree in a relevant discipline (e.g. Psychology, Social Work, Early Childhood Teaching, Speech & Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy).
  • Registration and/or membership with your relevant professional body (APHRA; SPA; NESA, etc.).
  • An understanding of, or willingness to learn, evidenced based approaches in developing and implementing early intervention programs with children including Positive Behaviour Support (PBS).
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • A strong work ethic with a collaborative team approach.
  • A current driver’s licence and use of own vehicle.
  • NSW Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Screener Check clearance.
  • Completion of the mandatory NDIS Worker Orientation Module ‘Quality, Safety and You’ is also required.
