Due to growth, a rare opportunity has presented for a qualified Workplace Rehabilitation Consultant to join our friendly, professional team. We can offer flexible hours to the right candidate and work from home options.

About You:

You will describe yourself as an open-minded professional with a friendly, empathetic disposition. You thrive in roles that provide you with autonomy and responsibility and possess a drive to achieve positive outcomes. You take pride in your work, are responsive to urgent situations and ooze initiative!

The Opportunity:

Your main objective is to help injured workers achieve their goals through a tailored case management service. You will be their advocate and provide high levels of assessment, care, and support.

This role will see you bring into play many of your skills, in particular your high levels of attention to detail, problem solving and ability to adapt and modify according to progress and changing needs.

You will ensure all parties including the Employers, Workers, Doctors, Insurers and Treating Health Professionals are all on the same page so that the right assistance can be provided at the right time.

To be considered for this great role you will have:

  • Qualifications in Health Science (Rehab Counsellor, OT, Physio, Ex Science,).
  • Full registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
  • Minimum 3 years’ experience with proven knowledge of Workers’ Compensation.
  • A current NSW Driver’s license.
  • Sharp observation, assessment, and clinical reasoning skills.
  • Well-developed critical thinking.
  • A High attention to detail.
  • Clear and concise report writing skills.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills with the ability to quickly establish rapport.
  • Sound computer skills with experience in Microsoft Office, Teams, Word, Case Manager, and the adaptability to learn new software.
  • The confidence and inclination to contribute to a collaborative team environment.
