Overview
Applying your clinical experience, knowledge and professional competence, you will plan, implement and evaluate a comprehensive and integrated range of social work services appropriate to the needs of the Barossa community. As a member of the multidisciplinary team, including health professionals and service providers from other sectors, you will utilise a combination of preventative, early intervention, treatment, therapy and evaluation approaches. You will provide social work interventions for clients across the lifespan, in multiple settings, and clients may be seen under many programs including Community Health, NDIS, CHSP, Acute Care and care pod settings. Working under reduced clinical direction, you may contribute to the clinical supervision of less experienced allied health professionals, allied health assistants and students. You will need to hold a recognised qualification within the Social Work profession and be eligible for practicing membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers (AASW). With experience in supporting clients across the patient journey, you will be committed to applying client-centred practice and community engagement principles in the development and delivery of services, ensuring clients are meaningfully involved in all aspects of their care. A team player, you will have the ability to communicate both written and verbally and negotiate effectively with a diverse range of people.
