  • Support children, young people and families in flood impacted communities
  • Provide short term psychological intervention and support
  • Work with a multidisciplinary team providing therapeutic support
  • Play a pivotal role in fostering the emotional resilience and wellbeing of participants

We are looking for a Counsellor with a desire to make a difference. The successful candidate will have:

  • Tertiary Qualifications in Psychology, Counselling, Social Worker or equivalent and current registration with AHPRA or AASW
  • Minimum of 2 years demonstrated supervised experience in mental health and mental distress
  • Experience participating in ‘case conferencing” with Allied Health Professionals, Local Health District staff and other government and non-government organisations
