Responsibilities: As a Positive Behaviour Support Clinician at Break Free Health, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Assisting individuals and their families in identifying their needs through assessments and person-centred planning to create meaningful goals and practical strategies for support in their homes and communities.
  • Developing Behaviour Support Plans (Interim & Comprehensive) utilizing a positive behaviour support framework with a commitment to eliminating restrictive practices.
  • Collaborating effectively within a small, cohesive team environment as well as a larger organization.

Qualifications and Requirements: To thrive in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and requirements:

  • A degree-level qualification as an allied health professional (OT/Speech/Social Work/Psychology/Education).
  • At least 6 months of experience as a Behaviour Support Practitioner (BSP).
  • Core, Proficient, or Advanced status as an NDIS Behaviour Support Practitioner.
  • Registration as a practitioner with NDIS.
  • Demonstrated experience working with individuals with complex needs and challenging behaviours.
  • Proven experience as a collaborative team member in developing and delivering positive behaviour support services.
  • A passion for making a difference and the ability to have fun in the process!
