Join our Rockingham team where you will be leading a team of Child and Family Counsellors, ensuring service quality and practice standards across the range of counselling services we provide, while holding a small caseload. You will have a focus on service coordination and integration, ensuring clients receive appropriate services and referrals that meet all of their needs.You will support your team and act as an escalation point for any complex clients or client issues, will coordinate serious issues meetings and respond to client complaints. You will be responsible for coordinating and facilitating case reviews and will develop and implement risk management strategies.

You will work alongside and lead a team of passionate and dedicated professionals in a client centred environment where you will be able to see the impact you and your team have on the community.

This opportunity is a full time (37.5 hours per week), ongoing position.  One evening shift will be required (10am – 6pm), ideally on a Tuesday.

What you will bring

You will bring your patient and empathetic nature alongside experience in leading person centred, trauma informed services that are culturally appropriate.

  • Demonstrated experience in leadership and program management in the child and family service sector
  • Minimum 2 years experience in providing supervision and case management
  • Knowledge and application of current theory and practice in relation to counselling families and children
  • Understanding of the issues relating to family and domestic violence and child abuse/neglect
  • Excellent skills in written, oral and interpersonal communication

The successful candidate must possess a current National Police Clearance valid within one year, a WA Drivers Licence and a WA Working with Children Check.

  • A competitive salary from $109,440 per annum + 11% superannuation 
  • Salary packaging of up to $15,900 (which equates to circa $4K after tax) plus additional salary packaging of up to $2,650 for meal and entertainment expenses
