Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a Child, Youth and Family Practitioner to be apart of our Thriving Families program. Thriving Families provide preventative and early intervention support to families with children aged 0-18 years in the northern & southern regions of Adelaide. The program aims to strengthen and enhance the capacity of families, parents, and children to deal with challenges that they may face.

What can you expect to be doing?

  •  Provide culturally safe, trauma responsive interventions to facilitate sustainable change with families experiencing multiple and complex needs
  • Develop comprehensive case plans 
  • Provide a service that aims to increase the parent/ caregivers skills and knowledge of safe parenting practices

What do you need to bring?

  • Proven experience in Family Services, Child Protection, Mental Health, Family Violence, Alcohol and Drugs services or other elated services working with vulnerable children, youth and families
  • Qualifications – Tertiary qualifications in Social Work, Psychology, Community Services or extensive relevant experience
  •  Clearances – National Police History Check, Working with Children Check, Driver’s licence, First Aid
